Jam scam, Enigin to the rescue
Shock horror! The first bite was okay but the rest left only to disappointment, yes it was the dreaded ‘jamless’ donut. Although not quite life threatening I did feel thoroughly scammed. Honestly, what is a Jam Donut without jam! I’ll tell you what it is, it’s a disappointment, a scam.

But here is my point, content is king. That’s right you knew I’d get round to talking about something content related, well I hate to disappoint. But it really is true, in my web browsing and searching I am all to often greeted with a website or blog that promises greatness, only to provide no real content. I wont list the perpetrators you know who you are, but it highlights to me more than ever how important top quality copy is. It’s all well and good having impressive graphics, movies and html 5 shooting out at you, (I love it actually) but its all a waste without the meaningful copy in the middle.
So for fear of falling into that very trap, here is my meaningful message for todays blog. Here at Enigin PLC we have a ethic of quality through and through. That is apparent from our online presence right down to the components in our motor controllers. Working with this type of ethic is not only best for business but creates a satisfying and enjoyable work environment. So I implore you to do your very best to keep the same standard with your business, it will pay dividends.
Here are four red hot tips..
- Plan what you will say, have an idea before you put pen to paper or finger to keyboard.
- Have a theme, too many points will dilute your message.
- Try and be interesting, much can be said factually thats not interesting and would be more memorable if written creatively.
- Be honest, your reader will smell a stinker a mile away.
Somethings to think about at least. You would never wont to be accused of being a scam now would you. So what do we need? Engin scam busters is what we need, those who fight against empty content, poor web sites, and the worst of all…the jam scam.
