ENIGIN OBSERVES A SURGE!

posted by enigin in Uncategorized

Here at Enigin we are very well placed to have a panoramic view over the rooftops of St Austell.  Being high on the hill which then decends into the town of St Austell we benefit from the fantastic scenic view of the sea in the Spring, Summer and Autumn to the magic lights of the town in the dark Winter months.  At Enigin we proudly inform, help and assist in the conservation of energy and cost savings related to that field, but all caution goes to the wind at this time of year when the Festive season is upon us.  Where normal sane and rational people, who would, as a rule, look for anyway to save money now quite blatently throw it away.  But this is of course not frowned upon but greeted with awe and wonderment, yes these people are the ones who each year go that one step further adding one illuminating feature after another to light up their houses for Christmas.  They will go to any lengths to outdo their neighbours and have the everyday man, woman, child and dog in the street stand and marvel at their quite magnificent spectacle which is quite frankly likely to be in the worst taste possible.  When did illuminating trains and inflatable Bart Simpsons become festive?  I seriously have missed a page or two in the whole meaning of ‘and they followed the brightest star that led them to….’ well quite obviously no 32 in my street if their display is anything to go by.  They proudly stand surveying their magnificent array of lights leaving them to dazzle at night and blind motorists coming down the street, but also during the day to help  glare in the Bus Drivers windows.  The cost of keeping these bulbs aglow is  of no consequence to the main showman who will stand proudly by while his electric meter greedily eats into his New Year bill getting fatter by the second.  Please dont for minute think I am a ‘Bah humbug’ type of person, nothing could be further from the truth, but I would like to think I have a modicom of taste and sense.  Taste in that a decorative tree decked with sufficient lights to glow not to bring down the national grid, and sense to know I will be able to afford my next electric bill.  But dont be disheartned all you people loving your public christmas displays, dont feel too bad that Santa cant park his sleigh on your roof because you already have your inflatable santa in situ and 700 lights blowing your energy ‘thru the roof’ we will always be here doing our bit to help save energy and secure a cheaper fuel bill for anyone that wants this on their wish list from Santa?

ENIGIN SHINES!

I can hardly believe Cornwall is in the grip of winter as the sunshine is streaming into the Enigin Offices.  Enigin Reception is superbly placed to take full advantage of any natural light and sunshine the elements may bestow upon us.  Surrounded by large glass windows, our open plan reception plays host to the many who visit our offices, where they are greeted by the magnificent 50″ televisual display that has become a star celebrity in its own right.  Whilst I happily greet all visitors to Enigin their eyes constantly transfixed on the colourful and informative Enigin display which has now become a paparazzi feature.   Our many partners and distributors have rarely left their training week without taking souvenir shots of our ‘Enigin Celebrity’.  I can only image how ‘A’ list celebrities must feel, i.e. Madonna and Beckham at being paprazzied wherever they go and finding it an intrusion and annoyance.  Where as our  ’Celebrity’ continues to always looks its best, never complains, and never uses large amounts of energy to show its worth.  In fact Saving Energy is where it Shines!
